STRESS (even small bits) take up space in your body, and cause physiological dysfunction.

Have you ever been in a tough situation or a narrow miss, and felt your stomach drops. Without food poisoning, or a stomach bug, your stomach aches. This doesn’t only happen with things happening this week, but any emotional stress from the time you were conceived until today. Yes, you had emotions in the womb.

N.E.T. acknowledges that specific emotions retain in specific organs (often happening in a pattern), for example:

  • The pancreas retains self-doubt

  • The intestines cling to feelings of vulnerability (ever had a kid with a bellyache just in time for school dropoff?)

  • Sadness sits in our lungs (… feeling deflated?)

  • JOY resides in our heart (ever look at someone and feel like your heart is going to burst? Even positive emotions can be stressful. Imagine if you couldn’t do the one thing you loved. Stressful, right?
